নং	আয়াত	সূরা
1	যখন আমি কা’বা গৃহকে মানুষের জন্যে সম্মিলন স্থল ও শান্তির আলয় করলাম, আর তোমরা ইব্রাহীমের দাঁড়ানোর জায়গাকে নামাযের জায়গা বানাও এবং আমি ইব্রাহীম ও ইসমাঈলকে আদেশ করলাম, তোমরা আমার গৃহকে তওয়াফকারী, অবস্থানকারী ও রুকু-সেজদাকারীদের জন্য পবিত্র রাখ। Remember We made the House a place of assembly for men and a place of safety; and take ye the station of Abraham as a place of prayer; and We covenanted with Abraham and Isma'il, that they should sanctify My House for those who compass it round, or use it as a retreat, or bow, or prostrate themselves (therein in prayer).	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ১২৫)
2	ইব্রাহীমের ধর্ম থেকে কে মুখ ফেরায়? কিন্তু সে ব্যক্তি, যে নিজেকে বোকা প্রতিপন্ন করে। নিশ্চয়ই আমি তাকে পৃথিবীতে মনোনীত করেছি এবং সে পরকালে সৎকর্মশীলদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত। And who turns away from the religion of Abraham but such as debase their souls with folly? Him We chose and rendered pure in this world: And he will be in the Hereafter in the ranks of the Righteous.	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ১৩০)
3	তারা বলে, তোমরা ইহুদী অথবা খ্রীষ্টান হয়ে যাও, তবেই সুপথ পাবে। আপনি বলুন, কখনই নয়; বরং আমরা ইব্রাহীমের ধর্মে আছি যাতে বক্রতা নেই। সে মুশরিকদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত ছিল না। They say: "Become Jews or Christians if ye would be guided (To salvation)." Say thou: "Nay! (I would rather) the Religion of Abraham the True, and he joined not gods with Allah."	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ১৩৫)
4	তুমি কি সে লোককে দেখনি, যে পালনকর্তার ব্যাপারে বাদানুবাদ করেছিল ইব্রাহীমের সাথে এ কারণে যে, আল্লাহ সে ব্যাক্তিকে রাজ্য দান করেছিলেন? ইব্রাহীম যখন বললেন, আমার পালনকর্তা হলেন তিনি, যিনি জীবন দান করেন এবং মৃত্যু ঘটান। সে বলল, আমি জীবন দান করি এবং মৃত্যু ঘটিয়ে থাকি। ইব্রাহীম বললেন, নিশ্চয়ই তিনি সুর্যকে উদিত করেন পূর্ব দিক থেকে এবার তুমি তাকে পশ্চিম দিক থেকে উদিত কর। তখন সে কাফের হতভম্ব হয়ে গেল। আর আল্লাহ সীমালংঘণকারী সম্প্রদায়কে সরল পথ প্রদর্শন করেন না। Hast thou not Turned thy vision to one who disputed with Abraham About his Lord, because Allah had granted him power? Abraham said: "My Lord is He Who Giveth life and death." He said: "I give life and death". Said Abraham: "But it is Allah that causeth the sun to rise from the east: Do thou then cause him to rise from the West." Thus was he confounded who (in arrogance) rejected faith. Nor doth Allah Give guidance to a people unjust.	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ২৫৮)
5	হে আহলে কিতাবগণ! কেন তোমরা ইব্রাহীমের বিষয়ে বাদানুবাদ কর? অথচ তওরাত ও ইঞ্জিল তাঁর পরেই নাযিল হয়েছে। তোমরা কি বুঝ না? Ye People of the Book! Why dispute ye about Abraham, when the Law and the Gospel Were not revealed Till after him? Have ye no understanding?	(আল ইমরান: আয়াতঃ ৬৫)
6	মানুষদের মধ্যে যারা ইব্রাহীমের অনুসরণ করেছিল, তারা, আর এই নবী এবং যারা এ নবীর প্রতি ঈমান এনেছে তারা ইব্রাহীমের ঘনিষ্ঠতম-আর আল্লাহ হচ্ছেন মুমিনদের বন্ধু। Without doubt, among men, the nearest of kin to Abraham, are those who follow him, as are also this Prophet and those who believe: And Allah is the Protector of those who have faith.	(আল ইমরান: আয়াতঃ ৬৮)
7	বল, ‘আল্লাহ সত্য বলেছেন। এখন সবাই ইব্রাহীমের ধর্মের অনুগত হয়ে যাও, যিনি ছিলেন একনিষ্ঠ ভাবে সত্যধর্মের অনুসারী। তিনি মুশরিকদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত ছিলেন না। Say: "Allah speaketh the Truth: follow the religion of Abraham, the sane in faith; he was not of the Pagans."	(আল ইমরান: আয়াতঃ ৯৫)
8	এতে রয়েছে মকামে ইব্রাহীমের মত প্রকৃষ্ট নিদর্শন। আর যে, লোক এর ভেতরে প্রবেশ করেছে, সে নিরাপত্তা লাভ করেছে। আর এ ঘরের হজ্ব করা হলো মানুষের উপর আল্লাহর প্রাপ্য; যে লোকের সামর্থ?2480;য়েছে এ পর্যন্ত পৌছার। আর যে লোক তা মানে না। আল্লাহ সারা বিশ্বের কোন কিছুরই পরোয়া করেন না। In it are Signs Manifest; (for example), the Station of Abraham; whoever enters it attains security; Pilgrimage thereto is a duty men owe to Allah,- those who can afford the journey; but if any deny faith, Allah stands not in need of any of His creatures.	(আল ইমরান: আয়াতঃ ৯৭)
9	নাকি যাকিছু আল্লাহ তাদেরকে স্বীয় অনুগ্রহে দান করেছেন সে বিষয়ের জন্য মানুষকে হিংসা করে। অবশ্যই আমি ইব্রাহীমের বংশধরদেরকে কিতাব ও হেকমত দান করেছিলাম আর তাদেরকে দান করেছিলাম বিশাল রাজ্য। Or do they envy mankind for what Allah hath given them of his bounty? but We had already given the people of Abraham the Book and Wisdom, and conferred upon them a great kingdom.	(আন নিসা: আয়াতঃ ৫৪)
10	যে আল্লাহর নির্দেশের সামনে মস্তক অবনত করে সৎকাজে নিয়োজিত থাকে এবং ইব্রাহীমের ধর্ম অনুসরণ করে, যিনি একনিষ্ঠ ছিলেন, তার চাইতে উত্তম ধর্ম কার? আল্লাহ ইব্রাহীমকে বন্ধুরূপে গ্রহণ করেছেন। Who can be better in religion than one who submits his whole self to Allah, does good, and follows the way of Abraham the true in Faith? For Allah did take Abraham for a friend.	(আন নিসা: আয়াতঃ ১২৫)
11	আপনি বলে দিনঃ আমার প্রতিপালক আমাকে সরল পথ প্রদর্শন করেছেন একাগ্রচিত্ত ইব্রাহীমের বিশুদ্ধ ধর্ম। সে অংশীবাদীদের অন্তর্ভূক্ত ছিল না। Say: "Verily, my Lord hath guided me to a way that is straight,- a religion of right,- the path (trod) by Abraham the true in Faith, and he (certainly) joined not gods with Allah."	(আল আনআম: আয়াতঃ ১৬১)
12	তাদের সংবাদ কি এদের কানে এসে পৌঁছায়নি, যারা ছিল তাদের পূর্বে; নূহের আ’দের ও সামুদের সম্প্রদায় এবং ইব্রাহীমের সম্প্রদায়ের এবং মাদইয়ানবাসীদের? এবং সেসব জনপদের যেগুলোকে উল্টে দেয়া হয়েছিল? তাদের কাছে এসেছিলেন তাদের নবী পরিষ্কার নির্দেশ নিয়ে। বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহ তো এমন ছিলেন না যে, তাদের উপর জুলুম করতেন, কিন্তু তারা নিজেরাই নিজেদের উপর জুলুম করতো। Hath not the story reached them of those before them?- the People of Noah, and 'Ad, and Thamud; the People of Abraham, the men of Midian, and the cities overthrown. To them came their messengers with clear signs. It is not Allah Who wrongs them, but they wrong their own souls.	(আত তাওবাহ: আয়াতঃ ৭০)
13	আর অবশ্যই আমার প্রেরিত ফেরেশতারা ইব্রাহীমেরে কাছে সুসংবাদ নিয়ে এসেছিল তারা বলল সালাম, তিনিও বললেন-সালাম। অতঃপর অল্পক্ষণের মধ্যেই তিনি একটি ভুনা করা বাছুর নিয়ে এলেন! There came Our messengers to Abraham with glad tidings. They said, "Peace!" He answered, "Peace!" and hastened to entertain them with a roasted calf.	(হুদ: আয়াতঃ ৬৯)
14	আপনি তাদেরকে ইব্রাহীমের মেহমানদের অবস্থা শুনিয়ে দিন। Tell them about the guests of Abraham.	(হিজর: আয়াতঃ ৫১)
15	অতঃপর আপনার প্রতি প্রত্যাদেশ প্রেরণ করেছি যে, ইব্রাহীমের দ্বীন অনুসরণ করুন, যিনি একনিষ্ঠ ছিলেন এবং শিরককারীদের অন্তর্ভূক্ত ছিলেন না। So We have taught thee the inspired (Message), "Follow the ways of Abraham the True in Faith, and he joined not gods with Allah."	(নাহল: আয়াতঃ ১২৩)
16	আপনি এই কিতাবে ইব্রাহীমের কথা বর্ণনা করুন। নিশ্চয় তিনি ছিলেন সত্যবাদী, নবী। (Also mention in the Book (the story of) Abraham: He was a man of Truth, a prophet.	(মারইয়াম: আয়াতঃ ৪১)
17	আমি বললামঃ হে অগ্নি, তুমি ইব্রাহীমের উপর শীতল ও নিরাপদ হয়ে যাও। We said, "O Fire! be thou cool, and (a means of) safety for Abraham!"	(আম্বিয়া: আয়াতঃ ৬৯)
18	তারা ইব্রাহীমের বিরুদ্ধে ফন্দি আঁটতে চাইল, অতঃপর আমি তাদেরকেই সর্বাধিক ক্ষতিগ্রস্থ করে দিলাম। Then they sought a stratagem against him: but We made them the ones that lost most!	(আম্বিয়া: আয়াতঃ ৭০)
19	তোমরা আল্লাহর জন্যে শ্রম স্বীকার কর যেভাবে শ্রম স্বীকার করা উচিত। তিনি তোমাদেরকে পছন্দ করেছেন এবং ধর্মের ব্যাপারে তোমাদের উপর কোন সংকীর্ণতা রাখেননি। তোমরা তোমাদের পিতা ইব্রাহীমের ধর্মে কায়েম থাক। তিনিই তোমাদের নাম মুসলমান রেখেছেন পূর্বেও এবং এই কোরআনেও, যাতে রসূল তোমাদের জন্যে সাক্ষ্যদাতা এবং তোমরা সাক্ষ্যদাতা হও মানবমন্ডলির জন্যে। সুতরাং তোমরা নামায কায়েম কর, যাকাত দাও এবং আল্লাহকে শক্তভাবে ধারণ কর। তিনিই তোমাদের মালিক। অতএব তিনি কত উত্তম মালিক এবং কত উত্তম সাহায্যকারী। And strive in His cause as ye ought to strive, (with sincerity and under discipline). He has chosen you, and has imposed no difficulties on you in religion; it is the cult of your father Abraham. It is He Who has named you Muslims, both before and in this (Revelation); that the Messenger may be a witness for you, and ye be witnesses for mankind! So establish regular Prayer, give regular Charity, and hold fast to Allah! He is your Protector - the Best to protect and the Best to help!	(হাজ্জ্ব: আয়াতঃ ৭৮)
20	আর তাদেরকে ইব্রাহীমের বৃত্তান্ত শুনিয়ে দিন। And rehearse to them (something of) Abraham's story.	(আশ-শো'আরা: আয়াতঃ ৬৯)
21	তখন ইব্রাহীমের সম্প্রদায়ের এছাড়া কোন জওয়াব ছিল না যে তারা বলল, তাকে হত্যা কর অথবা অগ্নিদগ্ধ কর। অতঃপর আল্লাহ তাকে অগ্নি থেকে রক্ষা করলেন। নিশ্চয় এতে বিশ্বাসী লোকদের জন্যে নিদর্শনাবলী রয়েছে। So naught was the answer of (Abraham's) people except that they said: "Slay him or burn him." But Allah did save him from the Fire. Verily in this are Signs for people who believe.	(আল আনকাবুত: আয়াতঃ ২৪)
22	যখন আমার প্রেরিত ফেরেশতাগণ সুসংবাদ নিয়ে ইব্রাহীমের কাছে আগমন করল, তখন তারা বলল, আমরা এই জনপদের অধিবাসীদেরকে ধ্বংস করব। নিশ্চয় এর অধিবাসীরা জালেম। When Our Messengers came to Abraham with the good news, they said: "We are indeed going to destroy the people of this township: for truly they are (addicted to) crime."	(আল আনকাবুত: আয়াতঃ ৩১)
23	ইব্রাহীমের প্রতি সালাম বর্ষিত হোক। "Peace and salutation to Abraham!"	(আস-সাফফাত: আয়াতঃ ১০৯)
24	আপনার কাছে ইব্রাহীমের সম্মানিত মেহমানদের বৃত্তান্ত এসেছে কি? Has the story reached thee, of the honoured guests of Abraham?	(আয-যারিয়াত: আয়াতঃ ২৪)
25	এবং ইব্রাহীমের কিতাবে, যে তার দায়িত্ব পালন করেছিল? And of Abraham who fulfilled his engagements?-	(আন-নাজম: আয়াতঃ ৩৭)
26	তোমাদের জন্যে ইব্রাহীম ও তাঁর সঙ্গীগণের মধ্যে চমৎকার আদর্শ রয়েছে। তারা তাদের সম্প্রদায়কে বলেছিলঃ তোমাদের সাথে এবং তোমরা আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে যার এবাদত কর, তার সাথে আমাদের কোন সম্পর্ক নেই। আমরা তোমাদের মানি না। তোমরা এক আল্লাহর প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন না করলে তোমাদের মধ্যে ও আমাদের মধ্যে চিরশত্রুতা থাকবে। কিন্তু ইব্রাহীমের উক্তি তাঁর পিতার উদ্দেশে এই আদর্শের ব্যতিক্রম। তিনি বলেছিলেনঃ আমি অবশ্যই তোমার জন্য ক্ষমাপ্রার্থনা করব। তোমার উপকারের জন্যে আল্লাহর কাছে আমার আর কিছু করার নেই। হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা! আমরা তোমারই উপর ভরসা করেছি, তোমারই দিকে মুখ করেছি এবং তোমারই নিকট আমাদের প্রত্যাবর্তন। There is for you an excellent example (to follow) in Abraham and those with him, when they said to their people: "We are clear of you and of whatever ye worship besides Allah: we have rejected you, and there has arisen, between us and you, enmity and hatred for ever,- unless ye believe in Allah and Him alone": But not when Abraham said to his father: "I will pray for forgiveness for thee, though I have no power (to get) aught on thy behalf from Allah." (They prayed): "Our Lord! in Thee do we trust, and to Thee do we turn in repentance: to Thee is (our) Final Goal.	(আল মুমতাহিনা: আয়াতঃ ৪)
