"আহলে" শব্দযুক্ত আয়াত ম্যাচ করেছেঃ ৩৬
নং	আয়াত	সূরা
1	যখন তাদের কাছে আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে একজন রসূল আগমন করলেন-যিনি ঐ কিতাবের সত্যায়ন করেন, যা তাদের কাছে রয়েছে, তখন আহলে কেতাবদের একদল আল্লাহর গ্রন্থকে পশ্চাতে নিক্ষেপ করল-যেন তারা জানেই না। And when there came to them a messenger from Allah, confirming what was with them, a party of the people of the Book threw away the Book of Allah behind their backs, as if (it had been something) they did not know!	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ১০১)
2	আহলে-কিতাব ও মুশরিকদের মধ্যে যারা কাফের, তাদের মনঃপুত নয় যে, তোমাদের পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে তোমাদের প্রতি কোন কল্যাণ অবতীর্ণ হোক। আল্লাহ যাকে ইচ্ছা বিশেষ ভাবে স্বীয় অনুগ্রহ দান করেন। আল্লাহ মহান অনুগ্রহদাতা। It is never the wish of those without Faith among the People of the Book, nor of the Pagans, that anything good should come down to you from your Lord. But Allah will choose for His special Mercy whom He will - for Allah is Lord of grace abounding.	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ১০৫)
3	আহলে কিতাবদের অনেকেই প্রতিহিংসাবশতঃ চায় যে, মুসলমান হওয়ার পর তোমাদেরকে কোন রকমে কাফের বানিয়ে দেয়। তাদের কাছে সত্য প্রকাশিত হওয়ার পর (তারা এটা চায়)। যাক তোমরা আল্লাহর নির্দেশ আসা পর্যন্ত তাদের ক্ষমা কর এবং উপেক্ষা কর। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সব কিছুর উপর ক্ষমতাবান। Quite a number of the People of the Book wish they could Turn you (people) back to infidelity after ye have believed, from selfish envy, after the Truth hath become Manifest unto them: But forgive and overlook, Till Allah accomplish His purpose; for Allah Hath power over all things.	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ১০৯)
4	নিশ্চয়ই আমি আপনাকে বার বার আকাশের দিকে তাকাতে দেখি। অতএব, অবশ্যই আমি আপনাকে সে কেবলার দিকেই ঘুরিয়ে দেব যাকে আপনি পছন্দ করেন। এখন আপনি মসজিদুল-হারামের দিকে মুখ করুন এবং তোমরা যেখানেই থাক, সেদিকে মুখ কর। যারা আহলে-কিতাব, তারা অবশ্যই জানে যে, এটাই ঠিক পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে। আল্লাহ বেখবর নন, সে সমস্ত কর্ম সম্পর্কে যা তারা করে। We see the turning of thy face (for guidance to the heavens: now Shall We turn thee to a Qibla that shall please thee. Turn then Thy face in the direction of the sacred Mosque: Wherever ye are, turn your faces in that direction. The people of the Book know well that that is the truth from their Lord. Nor is Allah unmindful of what they do.	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ১৪৪)
5	যদি আপনি আহলে কিতাবদের কাছে সমুদয় নিদর্শন উপস্থাপন করেন, তবুও তারা আপনার কেবলা মেনে নেবে না এবং আপনিও তাদের কেবলা মানেন না। তারাও একে অন্যের কেবলা মানে না। যদি আপনি তাদের বাসনার অনুসরণ করেন, সে জ্ঞানলাভের পর, যা আপনার কাছে পৌঁছেছে, তবে নিশ্চয় আপনি অবিচারকারীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হবেন। Even if thou wert to bring to the people of the Book all the Signs (together), they would not follow Thy Qibla; nor art thou going to follow their Qibla; nor indeed will they follow each other's Qibla. If thou after the knowledge hath reached thee, Wert to follow their (vain) desires,-then wert thou Indeed (clearly) in the wrong.	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ১৪৫)
6	যদি তারা তোমার সাথে বিতর্কে অবতীর্ণ হয় তবে বলে দাও, "আমি এবং আমার অনুসরণকারীগণ আল্লাহর প্রতি আত্নসমর্পণ করেছি।" আর আহলে কিতাবদের এবং নিরক্ষরদের বলে দাও যে, তোমরাও কি আত্নসমর্পণ করেছ? তখন যদি তারা আত্নসমর্পণ করে, তবে সরল পথ প্রাপ্ত হলো, আর যদি মুখ ঘুরিয়ে নেয়, তাহলে তোমার দায়িত্ব হলো শুধু পৌছে দেয়া। আর আল্লাহর দৃষ্টিতে রয়েছে সকল বান্দা। So if they dispute with thee, say: "I have submitted My whole self to Allah and so have those who follow me." And say to the People of the Book and to those who are unlearned: "Do ye (also) submit yourselves?" If they do, they are in right guidance, but if they turn back, Thy duty is to convey the Message; and in Allah's sight are (all) His servants.	(আল ইমরান: আয়াতঃ ২০)
7	বলুনঃ ‘হে আহলে-কিতাবগণ! একটি বিষয়ের দিকে আস-যা আমাদের মধ্যে ও তোমাদের মধ্যে সমান-যে, আমরা আল্লাহ ছাড়া অন্য কারও ইবাদত করব না, তাঁর সাথে কোন শরীক সাব্যস্ত করব না এবং একমাত্র আল্লাহকে ছাড়া কাউকে পালনকর্তা বানাব না। তারপর যদি তারা স্বীকার না করে, তাহলে বলে দাও যে, ‘সাক্ষী থাক আমরা তো অনুগত। Say: "O People of the Book! come to common terms as between us and you: That we worship none but Allah; that we associate no partners with him; that we erect not, from among ourselves, Lords and patrons other than Allah." If then they turn back, say ye: "Bear witness that we (at least) are Muslims (bowing to Allah's Will).	(আল ইমরান: আয়াতঃ ৬৪)
8	হে আহলে কিতাবগণ! কেন তোমরা ইব্রাহীমের বিষয়ে বাদানুবাদ কর? অথচ তওরাত ও ইঞ্জিল তাঁর পরেই নাযিল হয়েছে। তোমরা কি বুঝ না? Ye People of the Book! Why dispute ye about Abraham, when the Law and the Gospel Were not revealed Till after him? Have ye no understanding?	(আল ইমরান: আয়াতঃ ৬৫)
9	কোন কোন আহলে-কিতাবের আকাঙ্খা, যাতে তোমাদের গোমরাহ করতে পারে, কিন্তু তারা নিজেদের ছাড়া অন্য কাউকেই গোমরাহ করে না। অথচ তারা বুঝতে পারে না। It is the wish of a section of the People of the Book to lead you astray. But they shall lead astray (Not you), but themselves, and they do not perceive!	(আল ইমরান: আয়াতঃ ৬৯)
10	হে আহলে-কিতাবগণ, কেন তোমরা আল্লাহর কালামকে অস্বীকার কর, অথচ তোমরাই তাঁর প্রবক্তা? Ye People of the Book! Why reject ye the Signs of Allah, of which ye are (Yourselves) witnesses?	(আল ইমরান: আয়াতঃ ৭০)
11	হে আহলে কিতাবগণ, কেন তোমরা সত্যকে মিথ্যার সাথে সংমিশ্রণ করছ এবং সত্যকে গোপন করছ, অথচ তোমরা তা জান। Ye People of the Book! Why do ye clothe Truth with falsehood, and conceal the Truth, while ye have knowledge?	(আল ইমরান: আয়াতঃ ৭১)
12	আর আহলে-কিতাবগণের একদল বললো, মুসলমানগণের উপর যা কিছু অবর্তীণ হয়েছে তাকে দিনের প্রথম ভাগে মেনে নাও, আর দিনের শেষ ভাগে অস্বীকার ক র, হয়তো তারা মুখ ফিরিয়ে নিতে পারে। A section of the People of the Book say: "Believe in the morning what is revealed to the believers, but reject it at the end of the day; perchance they may (themselves) Turn back;	(আল ইমরান: আয়াতঃ ৭২)
13	কোন কোন আহলে কিতাব এমনও রয়েছে, তোমরা যদি তাদের কাছে বহু ধন-সম্পদ আমানত রাখ, তাহলেও তা তোমাদের যথারীতি পরিশোধ করবে। আর তোদের মধ্যে অনেক এমনও রয়েছে যারা একটি দীনার গচ্ছিত রাখলেও ফেরত দেবে না-যে পর্যন্ত না তুমি তার মাথার উপর দাঁড়াতে পারবে। এটা এজন্য যে, তারা বলে রেখেছে যে, উম্মীদের অধিকার বিনষ্ট করাতে আমাদের কোন পাপ নেই। আর তারা আল্লাহ সম্পর্কে জেনে শুনেই মিথ্যা বলে। Among the People of the Book are some who, if entrusted with a hoard of gold, will (readily) pay it back; others, who, if entrusted with a single silver coin, will not repay it unless thou constantly stoodest demanding, because, they say, "there is no call on us (to keep faith) with these ignorant (Pagans)." but they tell a lie against Allah, and (well) they know it.	(আল ইমরান: আয়াতঃ ৭৫)
14	বলুন, হে আহলে কিতাবগণ, কেন তোমরা আল্লাহর কিতাব অমান্য করছো, অথচ তোমরা যা কিছু কর, তা আল্লাহর সামনেই রয়েছে। Say: "O People of the Book! Why reject ye the Signs of Allah, when Allah is Himself witness to all ye do?"	(আল ইমরান: আয়াতঃ ৯৮)
15	বলুন, হে আহলে কিতাবগণ! কেন তোমরা আল্লাহর পথে ঈমানদারদিগকে বাধা দান কর-তোমরা তাদের দ্বীনের মধ্যে বক্রতা অনুপ্রবেশ করানোর পন্থা অনুসন্ধান কর, অথচ তোমরা এ পথের সত্যতা প্রত্যক্ষ করছ। বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহ তোমাদের কার্যকলাপ সম্পর্কে অনবগত নন। Say: "O ye People of the Book! Why obstruct ye those who believe, from the path of Allah, Seeking to make it crooked, while ye were yourselves witnesses (to Allah's Covenant)? but Allah is not unmindful of all that ye do."	(আল ইমরান: আয়াতঃ ৯৯)
16	হে ঈমানদারগণ! তোমরা যদি আহলে কিতাবদের কোন ফেরকার কথা মান, তাহলে ঈমান আনার পর তারা তোমাদিগকে কাফেরে পরিণত করে দেবে। O ye who believe! If ye listen to a faction among the People of the Book, they would (indeed) render you apostates after ye have believed!	(আল ইমরান: আয়াতঃ ১০০)
17	তোমরাই হলে সর্বোত্তম উম্মত, মানবজাতির কল্যানের জন্যেই তোমাদের উদ্ভব ঘটানো হয়েছে। তোমরা সৎকাজের নির্দেশ দান করবে ও অন্যায় কাজে বাধা দেবে এবং আল্লাহর প্রতি ঈমান আনবে। আর আহলে-কিতাবরা যদি ঈমান আনতো, তাহলে তা তাদের জন্য মঙ্গলকর হতো। তাদের মধ্যে কিছু তো রয়েছে ঈমানদার আর অধিকাংশই হলো পাপাচারী। Ye are the best of peoples, evolved for mankind, enjoining what is right, forbidding what is wrong, and believing in Allah. If only the People of the Book had faith, it were best for them: among them are some who have faith, but most of them are perverted transgressors.	(আল ইমরান: আয়াতঃ ১১০)
18	তারা সবাই সমান নয়। আহলে কিতাবদের মধ্যে কিছু লোক এমনও আছে যারা অবিচলভাবে আল্লাহর আয়াতসমূহ পাঠ করে এবং রাতের গভীরে তারা সেজদা করে। Not all of them are alike: Of the People of the Book are a portion that stand (For the right): They rehearse the Signs of Allah all night long, and they prostrate themselves in adoration.	(আল ইমরান: আয়াতঃ ১১৩)
19	অবশ্য ধন-সম্পদে এবং জনসম্পদে তোমাদের পরীক্ষা হবে এবং অবশ্য তোমরা শুনবে পূর্ববর্তী আহলে কিতাবদের কাছে এবং মুশরেকদের কাছে বহু অশোভন উক্তি। আর যদি তোমরা ধৈর্য্য ধারণ কর এবং পরহেযগারী অবলম্বন কর, তবে তা হবে একান্ত সৎসাহসের ব্যাপার। Ye shall certainly be tried and tested in your possessions and in your personal selves; and ye shall certainly Hear much that will grieve you, from those who received the Book before you and from those who worship many gods. But if ye persevere patiently, and guard against evil,-then that will be a determining factor in all affairs.	(আল ইমরান: আয়াতঃ ১৮৬)
20	আর আল্লাহ যখন আহলে কিতাবদের কাছ থেকে প্রতিজ্ঞা গ্রহণ করলেন যে, তা মানুষের নিকট বর্ণনা করবে এবং গোপন করবে না, তখন তারা সে প্রতিজ্ঞাকে নিজেদের পেছনে ফেলে রাখল আর তার কেনা-বেচা করল সামান্য মূল্যের বিনিময়ে। সুতরাং কতই না মন্দ তাদের এ বেচা-কেনা। And remember Allah took a covenant from the People of the Book, to make it known and clear to mankind, and not to hide it; but they threw it away behind their backs, and purchased with it some miserable gain! And vile was the bargain they made!	(আল ইমরান: আয়াতঃ ১৮৭)
21	আর আহলে কিতাবদের মধ্যে কেউ কেউ এমনও রয়েছে, যারা আল্লাহর উপর ঈমান আনে এবং যা কিছু তোমার উপর অবতীর্ণ হয় আর যা কিছু তাদের উপর অবতীর্ণ হয়েছে সেগুলোর উপর, আল্লাহর সামনে বিনয়াবনত থাকে এবং আল্লার আয়াতসমুহকে স্বল্পমুল্যের বিনিময়ে সওদা করে না, তারাই হলো সে লোক যাদের জন্য পারিশ্রমিক রয়েছে তাদের পালনকর্তার নিকট। নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ যথাশীঘ্র হিসাব চুকিয়ে দেন। And there are, certainly, among the People of the Book, those who believe in Allah, in the revelation to you, and in the revelation to them, bowing in humility to Allah: They will not sell the Signs of Allah for a miserable gain! For them is a reward with their Lord, and Allah is swift in account.	(আল ইমরান: আয়াতঃ ১৯৯)
22	তোমাদের আশার উপর ও ভিত্তি নয় এবং আহলে-কিতাবদের আশার উপরও না। যে কেউ মন্দ কাজ করবে, সে তার শাস্তি পাবে এবং সে আল্লাহ ছাড়া নিজের কোন সমর্থক বা সাহায্যকারী পাবে না। Not your desires, nor those of the People of the Book (can prevail): whoever works evil, will be requited accordingly. Nor will he find, besides Allah, any protector or helper.	(আন নিসা: আয়াতঃ ১২৩)
23	আপনার নিকট আহলে-কিতাবরা আবেদন জানায় যে, আপনি তাদের উপর আসমান থেকে লিখিত কিতাব অবতীর্ণ করিয়ে নিয়ে আসুন। বস্তুতঃ এরা মূসার কাছে এর চেয়েও বড় জিনিস চেয়েছে। বলেছে, একেবারে সামনাসামনিভাবে আমাদের আল্লাহকে দেখিয়ে দাও। অতএব, তাদের উপর বজ্রপাত হয়েছে তাদের পাপের দরুন; অতঃপর তাদের নিকট সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণ-নিদর্শন প্রকাশিত হবার পরেও তারা গো-বৎসকে উপাস্যরূপে গ্রহণ করেছিল; তাও আমি ক্ষমা করে দিয়েছিলাম এবং আমি মূসাকে প্রকৃষ্ট প্রভাব দান করেছিলাম। The people of the Book ask thee to cause a book to descend to them from heaven: Indeed they asked Moses for an even greater (miracle), for they said: "Show us Allah in public," but they were dazed for their presumption, with thunder and lightning. Yet they worshipped the calf even after clear signs had come to them; even so we forgave them; and gave Moses manifest proofs of authority.	(আন নিসা: আয়াতঃ ১৫৩)
24	আর আহলে-কিতাবদের মধ্যে যত শ্রেণী রয়েছে তারা সবাই ঈমান আনবে ঈসার উপর তাদের মৃত্যুর পূর্বে। আর কেয়ামতের দিন তাদের জন্য সাক্ষীর উপর সাক্ষী উপস্থিত হবে। And there is none of the People of the Book but must believe in him before his death; and on the Day of Judgment he will be a witness against them;-	(আন নিসা: আয়াতঃ ১৫৯)
25	হে আহলে-কিতাবগণ! তোমরা দ্বীনের ব্যাপারে বাড়াবাড়ি করো না এবং আল্লাহর শানে নিতান্ত সঙ্গত বিষয় ছাড়া কোন কথা বলো না। নিঃসন্দেহে মরিয়ম পুত্র মসীহ ঈসা আল্লাহর রসূল এবং তাঁর বাণী যা তিনি প্রেরণ করেছেন মরিয়মের নিকট এবং রূহ-তাঁরই কাছ থেকে আগত। অতএব, তোমরা আল্লাহকে এবং তার রসূলগণকে মান্য কর। আর একথা বলো না যে, আল্লাহ তিনের এক, একথা পরিহার কর; তোমাদের মঙ্গল হবে। নিঃসন্দেহে আল্লাহ একক উপাস্য। সন্তান-সন্ততি হওয়াটা তাঁর যোগ্য বিষয় নয়। যা কিছু আসমান সমূহ ও যমীনে রয়েছে সবই তার। আর কর্মবিধানে আল্লাহই যথেষ্ট। O People of the Book! Commit no excesses in your religion: Nor say of Allah aught but the truth. Christ Jesus the son of Mary was (no more than) a messenger of Allah, and His Word, which He bestowed on Mary, and a spirit proceeding from Him: so believe in Allah and His messengers. Say not "Trinity": desist: it will be better for you: for Allah is one Allah: Glory be to Him: (far exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belong all things in the heavens and on earth. And enough is Allah as a Disposer of affairs.	(আন নিসা: আয়াতঃ ১৭১)
26	আজ তোমাদের জন্য পবিত্র বস্তুসমূহ হালাল করা হল। আহলে কিতাবদের খাদ্য তোমাদের জন্যে হালাল এবং তোমাদের খাদ্য তাদের জন্য হালাল। তোমাদের জন্যে হালাল সতী-সাধ্বী মুসলমান নারী এবং তাদের সতী-সাধ্বী নারী, যাদেরকে কিতাব দেয়া হয়েছে তোমাদের পূর্বে, যখন তোমরা তাদেরকে মোহরানা প্রদান কর তাদেরকে স্ত্রী করার জন্যে, কামবাসনা চরিতার্থ করার জন্যে কিংবা গুপ্ত প্রেমে লিপ্ত হওয়ার জন্যে নয়। যে ব্যক্তি বিশ্বাসের বিষয় অবিশ্বাস করে, তার শ্রম বিফলে যাবে এবং পরকালে সে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হবে। This day are (all) things good and pure made lawful unto you. The food of the People of the Book is lawful unto you and yours is lawful unto them. (Lawful unto you in marriage) are (not only) chaste women who are believers, but chaste women among the People of the Book, revealed before your time,- when ye give them their due dowers, and desire chastity, not lewdness, nor secret intrigues if any one rejects faith, fruitless is his work, and in the Hereafter he will be in the ranks of those who have lost (all spiritual good).	(আল মায়িদাহ: আয়াতঃ ৫)
27	হে আহলে-কিতাবগণ! তোমাদের কাছে আমার রাসূল আগমন করেছেন! কিতাবের যেসব বিষয় তোমরা গোপন করতে, তিনি তার মধ্য থেকে অনেক বিষয় প্রকাশ করেন এবং অনেক বিষয় মার্জনা করেন। তোমাদের কাছে একটি উজ্জল জ্যোতি এসেছে এবং একটি সমুজ্জল গ্রন্থ। O people of the Book! There hath come to you our Messenger, revealing to you much that ye used to hide in the Book, and passing over much (that is now unnecessary): There hath come to you from Allah a (new) light and a perspicuous Book, -	(আল মায়িদাহ: আয়াতঃ ১৫)
28	হে আহলে-কিতাবগণ! তোমাদের কাছে আমার রসূল আগমণ করেছেন, যিনি পয়গম্বরদের বিরতির পর তোমাদের কাছে পুঙ্খানুপুঙ্খ বর্ণনা করেন-যাতে তোমরা একথা বলতে না পার যে, আমাদের কাছে কোন সুসংবাদদাতা ও ভীতিপ্রদর্শক আগমন করে নি। অতএব, তোমাদের কাছে সুসংবাদদাতা ও ভীতি প্রদর্শক আগমন করেননি। অতএব, তোমাদের কাছে সুসংবাদদাতা ও ভয় প্রদর্শক এসে গেছেন। আল্লাহ সবকিছুর উপর শক্তিমান। O People of the Book! Now hath come unto you, making (things) clear unto you, Our Messenger, after the break in (the series of) our messengers, lest ye should say: "There came unto us no bringer of glad tidings and no warner (from evil)": But now hath come unto you a bringer of glad tidings and a warner (from evil). And Allah hath power over all things.	(আল মায়িদাহ: আয়াতঃ ১৯)
29	হে মুমিনগণ, আহলে কিতাবদের মধ্য থেকে যারা তোমাদের ধর্মকে উপহাস ও খেলা মনে করে, তাদেরকে এবং অন্যান্য কাফেরকে বন্ধু রূপে গ্রহণ করো না। আল্লাহকে ভয় কর, যদি তোমরা ঈমানদার হও। O ye who believe! take not for friends and protectors those who take your religion for a mockery or sport,- whether among those who received the Scripture before you, or among those who reject Faith; but fear ye Allah, if ye have faith (indeed).	(আল মায়িদাহ: আয়াতঃ ৫৭)
30	বলুনঃ হে আহলে কিতাবগণ, আমাদের সাথে তোমাদের এছাড়া কি শত্রুতা যে, আমরা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছি আল্লাহর প্রতি, আমাদের উপর অবতীর্ণ গ্রন্থের প্রতি এবং পূর্বে অবতীর্ণ গ্রন্থের প্রতি। আর তোমাদের অধিকাংশই নাফরমান। Say: "O people of the Book! Do ye disapprove of us for no other reason than that we believe in Allah, and the revelation that hath come to us and that which came before (us), and (perhaps) that most of you are rebellious and disobedient?"	(আল মায়িদাহ: আয়াতঃ ৫৯)
31	আর যদি আহলে-কিতাবরা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করত এবং খোদাভীতি অবলম্বন করত, তবে আমি তাদের মন্দ বিষয়সমূহ ক্ষমা করে দিতাম এবং তাদেরকে নেয়ামতের উদ্যানসমূহে প্রবিষ্ট করতাম। If only the People of the Book had believed and been righteous, We should indeed have blotted out their iniquities and admitted them to gardens of bliss.	(আল মায়িদাহ: আয়াতঃ ৬৫)
32	বলে দিনঃ হে আহলে কিতাবগণ, তোমরা কোন পথেই নও, যে পর্যন্ত না তোমরা তওরাত, ইঞ্জিল এবং যে গ্রন্থ তোমাদের পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে তোমাদের প্রতি অবতীর্ণ হয়েছে তাও পুরোপুরি পালন না কর। আপনার পালনকর্তার কাছ থেকে আপনার প্রতি যা অবর্তীণ হয়েছে, তার কারণে তাদের অনেকের অবাধ্যতা ও কুফর বৃদ্ধি পাবে। অতএব, এ কাফের সম্প্রদায়ের জন্যে দুঃখ করবেন না। Say: "O People of the Book! ye have no ground to stand upon unless ye stand fast by the Law, the Gospel, and all the revelation that has come to you from your Lord." It is the revelation that cometh to thee from thy Lord, that increaseth in most of them their obstinate rebellion and blasphemy. But sorrow thou not over (these) people without Faith.	(আল মায়িদাহ: আয়াতঃ ৬৮)
33	বলুনঃ হে আহলে কিতাবগন, তোমরা স্বীয় ধর্মে অন্যায় বাড়াবাড়ি করো না এবং এতে ঐ সম্প্রদায়ের প্রবৃত্তির অনুসরণ করো না, যারা পূর্বে পথভ্রষ্ট হয়েছে এবং অনেককে পথভ্রষ্ট করেছে। তারা সরল পথ থেকে বিচ্যুত হয়ে পড়েছে। Say: "O people of the Book! exceed not in your religion the bounds (of what is proper), trespassing beyond the truth, nor follow the vain desires of people who went wrong in times gone by,- who misled many, and strayed (themselves) from the even way.	(আল মায়িদাহ: আয়াতঃ ৭৭)
34	তোমরা যুদ্ধ কর আহলে-কিতাবের ঐ লোকদের সাথে, যারা আল্লাহ ও রোজ হাশরে ঈমান রাখে না, আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূল যা হারাম করে দিয়েছেন তা হারাম করে না এবং গ্রহণ করে না সত্য ধর্ম, যতক্ষণ না করজোড়ে তারা জিযিয়া প্রদান করে। Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.	(আত তাওবাহ: আয়াতঃ ২৯)
35	আহলে-কিতাব ও মুশরেকদের মধ্যে যারা কাফের ছিল, তারা প্রত্যাবর্তন করত না যতক্ষণ না তাদের কাছে সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণ আসত। Those who reject (Truth), among the People of the Book and among the Polytheists, were not going to depart (from their ways) until there should come to them Clear Evidence,-	(বাইয়্যিনাহ: আয়াতঃ ১)
36	আহলে-কিতাব ও মুশরেকদের মধ্যে যারা কাফের, তারা জাহান্নামের আগুনে স্থায়ীভাবে থাকবে। তারাই সৃষ্টির অধম। Those who reject (Truth), among the People of the Book and among the Polytheists, will be in Hell-Fire, to dwell therein (for aye). They are the worst of creatures.	(বাইয়্যিনাহ: আয়াতঃ ৬)
