নং আয়াত সূরা
1 তাদের অবস্থা সে ব্যক্তির মত, যে লোক কোথাও আগুন জ্বালালো এবং তার চারদিককার সবকিছুকে যখন আগুন স্পষ্ট করে তুললো, ঠিক এমনি সময় আল্লাহ তার চারদিকের আলোকে উঠিয়ে নিলেন এবং তাদেরকে অন্ধকারে ছেড়ে দিলেন। ফলে, তারা কিছুই দেখতে পায় না।
Their similitude is that of a man who kindled a fire; when it lighted all around him, Allah took away their light and left them in utter darkness. So they could not see.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ১৭)
2 বিদ্যুতালোকে যখন সামান্য আলোকিত হয়, তখন কিছুটা পথ চলে। আবার যখন অন্ধকার হয়ে যায়, তখন ঠাঁয় দাঁড়িয়ে থাকে। যদি আল্লাহ ইচ্ছা করেন, তাহলে তাদের শ্রবণশক্তি ও দৃষ্টিশক্তি ছিনিয়ে নিতে পারেন। আল্লাহ যাবতীয় বিষয়ের উপর সর্বময় ক্ষমতাশীল।
The lightning all but snatches away their sight; every time the light (Helps) them, they walk therein, and when the darkness grows on them, they stand still. And if Allah willed, He could take away their faculty of hearing and seeing; for Allah hath power over all things.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২০)
3 যারা ঈমান এনেছে, আল্লাহ তাদের অভিভাবক। তাদেরকে তিনি বের করে আনেন অন্ধকার থেকে আলোর দিকে। আর যারা কুফরী করে তাদের অভিভাবক হচ্ছে তাগুত। তারা তাদেরকে আলো থেকে বের করে অন্ধকারের দিকে নিয়ে যায়। এরাই হলো দোযখের অধিবাসী, চিরকাল তারা সেখানেই থাকবে।
Allah is the Protector of those who have faith: from the depths of darkness He will lead them forth into light. Of those who reject faith the patrons are the evil ones: from light they will lead them forth into the depths of darkness. They will be companions of the fire, to dwell therein (For ever).		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২৫৭)
4 হে মানবকুল! তোমাদের পরওয়ারদেগারের পক্ষ থেকে তোমাদের নিকট সনদ পৌঁছে গেছে। আর আমি তোমাদের প্রতি প্রকৃষ্ট আলো অবতীর্ণ করেছি।
O mankind! verily there hath come to you a convincing proof from your Lord: For We have sent unto you a light (that is) manifest.		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১৭৪)
5 এর দ্বারা আল্লাহ যারা তাঁর সন্তুষ্টি কামনা করে, তাদেরকে নিরাপত্তার পথ প্রদর্শন করেন এবং তাদেরকে স্বীয় নির্দেশ দ্বারা অন্ধকার থেকে বের করে আলোর দিকে আনয়ন করেন এবং সরল পথে পরিচালনা করেন।
Wherewith Allah guideth all who seek His good pleasure to ways of peace and safety, and leadeth them out of darkness, by His will, unto the light,- guideth them to a path that is straight.		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১৬)
6 আমি তওরাত অবর্তীর্ন করেছি। এতে হেদায়াত ও আলো রয়েছে। আল্লাহর আজ্ঞাবহ পয়গম্বর, দরবেশ ও আলেমরা এর মাধ্যমে ইহুদীদেরকে ফয়সালা দিতেন। কেননা, তাদেরকে এ খোদায়ী গ্রন্থের দেখাশোনা করার নির্দেশ দেয়া হয়েছিল এবং তাঁরা এর রক্ষণাবেক্ষণে নিযুক্ত ছিলেন। অতএব, তোমরা মানুষকে ভয় করো না এবং আমাকে ভয় কর এবং আমার আয়াত সমূহের বিনিময়ে স্বল্পমূল্যে গ্রহণ করো না, যেসব লোক আল্লাহ যা অবতীর্ণ করেছেন, তদনুযায়ী ফায়সালা করে না, তারাই কাফের।
It was We who revealed the law (to Moses): therein was guidance and light. By its standard have been judged the Jews, by the prophets who bowed (as in Islam) to Allah's will, by the rabbis and the doctors of law: for to them was entrusted the protection of Allah's book, and they were witnesses thereto: therefore fear not men, but fear me, and sell not my signs for a miserable price. If any do fail to judge by (the light of) what Allah hath revealed, they are (no better than) Unbelievers.		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৪৪)
7 আমি তাদের পেছনে মরিয়ম তনয় ঈসাকে প্রেরণ করেছি। তিনি পূর্ববর্তী গ্রন্থ তওরাতের সত্যায়নকারী ছিলেন। আমি তাঁকে ইঞ্জিল প্রদান করেছি। এতে হেদায়াত ও আলো রয়েছে। এটি পূর্ববতী গ্রন্থ তওরাতের সত্যায়ন করে পথ প্রদর্শন করে এবং এটি খোদাভীরুদের জন্যে হেদায়েত উপদেশ বানী।
And in their footsteps We sent Jesus the son of Mary, confirming the Law that had come before him: We sent him the Gospel: therein was guidance and light, and confirmation of the Law that had come before him: a guidance and an admonition to those who fear Allah.		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৪৬)
8 সর্ববিধ প্রশংসা আল্লাহরই জন্য যিনি নভোমন্ডল ও ভূমন্ডল সৃষ্টি করেছেন এবং অন্ধকার ও আলোর উদ্ভব করেছেন। তথাপি কাফেররা স্বীয় পালনকর্তার সাথে অন্যান্যকে সমতুল্য স্থির করে।
Praise be Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth, and made the darkness and the light. Yet those who reject Faith hold (others) as equal, with their Guardian-Lord.		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ১)
9 আর যে মৃত ছিল অতঃপর আমি তাকে জীবিত করেছি এবং তাকে এমন একটি আলো দিয়েছি, যা নিয়ে সে মানুষের মধ্যে চলাফেরা করে। সে কি ঐ ব্যক্তির সমতুল্য হতে পারে, যে অন্ধকারে রয়েছে-সেখান থেকে বের হতে পারছে না? এমনিভাবে কাফেরদের দৃষ্টিতে তাদের কাজকর্মকে সুশোভিত করে দেয়া হয়েছে।
Can he who was dead, to whom We gave life, and a light whereby he can walk amongst men, be like him who is in the depths of darkness, from which he can never come out? Thus to those without faith their own deeds seem pleasing.		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ১২২)
10 তিনিই সে মহান সত্তা, যিনি বানিয়েছেন সুর্যকে উজ্জল আলোকময়, আর চন্দ্রকে স্নিগ্ধ আলো বিতরণকারীরূপে এবং অতঃপর নির্ধারিত করেছেন এর জন্য মনযিল সমূহ, যাতে করে তোমরা চিনতে পার বছরগুলোর সংখ্যা ও হিসাব। আল্লাহ এই সমস্ত কিছু এমনিতেই সৃষ্টি করেননি, কিন্তু যথার্থতার সাথে। তিনি প্রকাশ করেন লক্ষণসমূহ সে সমস্ত লোকের জন্য যাদের জ্ঞান আছে।
It is He Who made the sun to be a shining glory and the moon to be a light (of beauty), and measured out stages for her; that ye might know the number of years and the count (of time). Nowise did Allah create this but in truth and righteousness. (Thus) doth He explain His Signs in detail, for those who understand.		 (ইউনুস:
আয়াতঃ ৫)
11 যে ব্যক্তি সম্পর্কে ধারণা ছিল যে, সে মুক্তি পাবে, তাকে ইউসুফ বলে দিলঃ আপন প্রভুর কাছে আমার আলোচনা করবে। অতঃপর শয়তান তাকে প্রভুর কাছে আলোচনার কথা ভুলিয়ে দিল। ফলে তাঁকে কয়েক বছর কারাগারে থাকতে হল।
And of the two, to that one whom he consider about to be saved, he said: "Mention me to thy lord." But Satan made him forget to mention him to his lord: and (Joseph) lingered in prison a few (more) years.		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৪২)
12 জিজ্ঞেস করুন নভোমন্ডল ও ভুমন্ডলের পালনকর্তা কে? বলে দিনঃ আল্লাহ! বলুনঃ তবে কি তোমরা আল্লাহ ব্যতীত এমন অভিভাবক স্থির করেছ, যারা নিজেদের ভাল-মন্দের ও মালিক নয়? বলুনঃ অন্ধ চক্ষুষ্মান কি সমান হয়? অথবা কোথাও কি অন্ধকার ও আলো সমান হয়। তবে কি তারা আল্লাহর জন্য এমন অংশীদার স্থির করেছে যে, তারা কিছু সৃষ্টি করেছে, যেমন সৃষ্টি করেছেন আল্লাহ? অতঃপর তাদের সৃষ্টি এরূপ বিভ্রান্তি ঘটিয়েছে? বলুনঃ আল্লাহই প্রত্যেক বস্তুর স্রষ্টা এবং তিনি একক, পরাক্রমশালী।
Say: "Who is the Lord and Sustainer of the heavens and the earth?" Say: "(It is) Allah." Say: "Do ye then take (for worship) protectors other than Him, such as have no power either for good or for harm to themselves?" Say: "Are the blind equal with those who see? Or the depths of darkness equal with light?" Or do they assign to Allah partners who have created (anything) as He has created, so that the creation seemed to them similar? Say: "Allah is the Creator of all things: He is the One, the Supreme and Irresistible."		 (রা'দ:
আয়াতঃ ১৬)
13 আলিফ-লাম-রা; এটি একটি গ্রন্থ, যা আমি আপনার প্রতি নাযিল করেছি-যাতে আপনি মানুষকে অন্ধকার থেকে আলোর দিকে বের করে আনেন-পরাক্রান্ত, প্রশংসার যোগ্য পালনকর্তার নির্দেশে তাঁরই পথের দিকে।
A. L. R. A Book which We have revealed unto thee, in order that thou mightest lead mankind out of the depths of darkness into light - by the leave of their Lord - to the Way of (Him) the Exalted in power, worthy of all praise!-		 (ইব্রাহীম:
আয়াতঃ ১)
14 আমি মূসাকে নিদর্শনাবলী সহ প্রেরণ করেছিলাম যে, স্বজাতিকে অন্ধকার থেকে আলোর দিকে আনয়ন এবং তাদেরকে আল্লাহর দিনসমূহ স্মরণ করান। নিশ্চয় এতে প্রত্যেক ধৈর্যশীল কৃতজ্ঞের জন্যে নিদর্শনাবলী রয়েছে।
We sent Moses with Our signs (and the command). "Bring out thy people from the depths of darkness into light, and teach them to remember the Days of Allah." Verily in this there are Signs for such as are firmly patient and constant,- grateful and appreciative.		 (ইব্রাহীম:
আয়াতঃ ৫)
15 যখন তারা কান পেতে আপনার কথা শোনে, তখন তারা কেন কান পেতে তা শোনে, তা আমি ভাল জানি এবং এও জানি গোপনে আলোচনাকালে যখন জালেমরা বলে, তোমরা তো এক যাদুগ্রস্থ ব্যক্তির অনুসরণ করছ।
We know best why it is they listen, when they listen to thee; and when they meet in private conference, behold, the wicked say, "Ye follow none other than a man bewitched!"		 (বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ৪৭)
16 অজ্ঞাত বিষয়ে অনুমানের উপর ভিত্তি করে এখন তারা বলবেঃ তারা ছিল তিন জন; তাদের চতুর্থটি তাদের কুকুর। একথাও বলবে; তারা পাঁচ জন। তাদের ছষ্ঠটি ছিল তাদের কুকুর। আরও বলবেঃ তারা ছিল সাত জন। তাদের অষ্টমটি ছিল তাদের কুকুর। বলুনঃ আমার পালনকর্তা তাদের সংখ্যা ভাল জানেন। তাদের খবর অল্প লোকই জানে। সাধারণ আলোচনা ছাড়া আপনি তাদের সম্পর্কে বিতর্ক করবেন না এবং তাদের অবস্থা সম্পর্কে তাদের কাউকে জিজ্ঞাসাবাদ ও করবেন না।
(Some) say they were three, the dog being the fourth among them; (others) say they were five, the dog being the sixth,- doubtfully guessing at the unknown; (yet others) say they were seven, the dog being the eighth. Say thou: "My Lord knoweth best their number; It is but few that know their (real case)." Enter not, therefore, into controversies concerning them, except on a matter that is clear, nor consult any of them about (the affair of) the Sleepers.		 (কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ২২)
17 আমি তাকে আহবান করলাম তূর পাহাড়ের ডান দিক থেকে এবং গুঢ়তত্ত্ব আলোচনার উদ্দেশে তাকে নিকটবর্তী করলাম।
And we called him from the right side of Mount (Sinai), and made him draw near to Us, for mystic (converse).		 (মারইয়াম:
আয়াতঃ ৫২)
18 এই কিতাবে ইদ্রীসের কথা আলোচনা করুন, তিনি ছিলেন সত্যবাদী নবী।
Also mention in the Book the case of Idris: He was a man of truth (and sincerity), (and) a prophet:		 (মারইয়াম:
আয়াতঃ ৫৬)
19 কাফেররা যখন আপনাকে দেখে তখন আপনার সাথে ঠাট্টা করা ছাড়া তাদের আর কোন কাজ থাকে না, একি সেই ব্যক্তি, যে তোমাদের দেব-দেবীদের সমালোচনা করে? এবং তারাই তো রহমান’ এর আলোচনায় অস্বীকার করে।
When the Unbelievers see thee, they treat thee not except with ridicule. "Is this," (they say), "the one who talks of your gods?" and they blaspheme at the mention of (Allah) Most Gracious!		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৩৬)
20 আমি মূসা ও হারুণকে দান করেছিলাম মীমাংসাকারী গ্রন্থ, আলো ও উপদেশ, আল্লাহ ভীরুদের জন্যে
In the past We granted to Moses and Aaron the criterion (for judgment), and a Light and a Message for those who would do right,-		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৪৮)
21 কতক লোকে বললঃ আমরা এক যুবককে তাদের সম্পর্কে বিরূপ আলোচনা করতে শুনেছি; তাকে ইব্রাহীম বলা হয়।
They said, "We heard a youth talk of them: He is called Abraham."		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৬০)
22 এবং সেই নারীর কথা আলোচনা করুন, যে তার কামপ্রবৃত্তিকে বশে রেখেছিল, অতঃপর আমি তার মধ্যে আমার রূহ ফুঁকে দিয়েছিলাম এবং তাকে তার পুত্রকে বিশ্ববাসীর জন্য নিদর্শন করেছিলাম।
And (remember) her who guarded her chastity: We breathed into her of Our spirit, and We made her and her son a sign for all peoples.		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৯১)
23 আল্লাহ নভোমন্ডল ও ভূমন্ডলের জ্যোতি, তাঁর জ্যোতির উদাহরণ যেন একটি কুলঙ্গি, যাতে আছে একটি প্রদীপ, প্রদীপটি একটি কাঁচপাত্রে স্থাপিত, কাঁচপাত্রটি উজ্জ্বল নক্ষত্র সদৃশ্য। তাতে পুতঃপবিত্র যয়তুন বৃক্ষের তৈল প্রজ্বলিত হয়, যা পূর্বমুখী নয় এবং পশ্চিমমুখীও নয়। অগ্নি স্পর্শ না করলেও তার তৈল যেন আলোকিত হওয়ার নিকটবর্তী। জ্যোতির উপর জ্যোতি। আল্লাহ যাকে ইচ্ছা পথ দেখান তাঁর জ্যোতির দিকে। আল্লাহ মানুষের জন্যে দৃষ্টান্তসমূহ বর্ণনা করেন এবং আল্লাহ সব বিষয়ে জ্ঞাত।
Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The Parable of His Light is as if there were a Niche and within it a Lamp: the Lamp enclosed in Glass: the glass as it were a brilliant star: Lit from a blessed Tree, an Olive, neither of the east nor of the west, whose oil is well-nigh luminous, though fire scarce touched it: Light upon Light! Allah doth guide whom He will to His Light: Allah doth set forth Parables for men: and Allah doth know all things.		 (আন-নূর:
আয়াতঃ ৩৫)
24 তারা কি দেখে না যে, আমি রাত্রি সৃষ্টি করেছি তাদের বিশ্রামের জন্যে এবং দিনকে করেছি আলোকময়। নিশ্চয় এতে ঈমানদার সম্প্রদায়ের জন্যে নিদর্শনাবলী রয়েছে।
See they not that We have made the Night for them to rest in and the Day to give them light? Verily in this are Signs for any people that believe!		 (নমল:
আয়াতঃ ৮৬)
25 বলুন, ভেবে দেখ তো, আল্লাহ যদি রাত্রিকে কেয়ামতের দিন পর্যন্ত স্থায়ী করেন, তবে আল্লাহ ব্যতীত এমন উপাস্য কে আছে, যে তোমাদেরকে আলোক দান করতে পারে? তোমরা কি তবুও কর্ণꦣ2474;াত করবে না?
Say: See ye? If Allah were to make the night perpetual over you to the Day of Judgment, what god is there other than Allah, who can give you enlightenment? Will ye not then hearken?		 (আল কাসাস:
আয়াতঃ ৭১)
26 তিনিই তোমাদের প্রতি রহমত করেন এবং তাঁর ফেরেশতাগণও রহমতের দোয়া করেন-অন্ধকার থেকে তোমাদেরকে আলোকে বের করার জন্য। তিনি মুমিনদের প্রতি পরম দয়ালু।
He it is Who sends blessings on you, as do His angels, that He may bring you out from the depths of Darkness into Light: and He is Full of Mercy to the Believers.		 (আল আহযাব:
আয়াতঃ ৪৩)
27 সমান নয় অন্ধকার ও আলো।
Nor are the depths of Darkness and the Light;		 (ফাতির:
আয়াতঃ ২০)
28 এ এক মহৎ আলোচনা। খোদাভীরুদের জন্যে রয়েছে উত্তম ঠিকানা-
This is a Message (of admonition): and verily, for the righteous, is a beautiful Place of (Final) Return,-		 (ছোয়াদ:
আয়াতঃ ৪৯)
29 আল্লাহ যার বক্ষ ইসলামের জন্যে উম্মুক্ত করে দিয়েছেন, অতঃপর সে তার পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে আগত আলোর মাঝে রয়েছে। (সে কি তার সমান, যে এরূপ নয়) যাদের অন্তর আল্লাহ স্মরণের ব্যাপারে কঠোর, তাদের জন্যে দূর্ভোগ। তারা সুস্পষ্ঠ গোমরাহীতে রয়েছে।
Is one whose heart Allah has opened to Islam, so that he has received Enlightenment from Allah, (no better than one hard-hearted)? Woe to those whose hearts are hardened against celebrating the praises of Allah! they are manifestly wandering (in error)!		 (আল-যুমার:
আয়াতঃ ২২)
30 তারা কি বলে যে, রসূল একে রচনা করেছে? বলুন, যদি আমি রচনা করে থাকি, তবে তোমরা আল্লাহর শাস্তি থেকে আমাকে রক্ষা করার অধিকারী নও। তোমরা এ সম্পর্কে যা আলোচনা কর, সে বিষয়ে আল্লাহ সম্যক অবগত। আমার ও তোমাদের মধ্যে তিনি সাক্ষী হিসাবে যথেষ্ট। তিনি ক্ষমাশীল, দয়াময়।
Or do they say, "He has forged it"? Say: "Had I forged it, then can ye obtain no single (blessing) for me from Allah. He knows best of that whereof ye talk (so glibly)! Enough is He for a witness between me and you! And he is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."		 (আল আহক্বাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৮)
31 তিনিই তাঁর দাসের প্রতি প্রকাশ্য আয়াত অবতীর্ণ করেন, যাতে তোমাদেরকে অন্ধকার থেকে আলোকে আনয়ন করেন। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ তোমাদের প্রতি করুণাময়, পরম দয়ালু।
He is the One Who sends to His Servant Manifest Signs, that He may lead you from the depths of Darkness into the Light and verily Allah is to you most kind and Merciful.		 (আল হাদীদ:
আয়াতঃ ৯)
32 যেদিন কপট বিশ্বাসী পুরুষ ও কপট বিশ্বাসিনী নারীরা মুমিনদেরকে বলবেঃ তোমরা আমাদের জন্যে অপেক্ষা কর, আমরাও কিছু আলো নিব তোমাদের জ্যোতি থেকে। বলা হবেঃ তোমরা পিছনে ফিরে যাও ও আলোর খোঁজ কর। অতঃপর উভয় দলের মাঝখানে খাড়া করা হবে একটি প্রাচীর, যার একটি দরজা হবে। তার অভ্যন্তরে থাকবে রহমত এবং বাইরে থাকবে আযাব।
One Day will the Hypocrites- men and women - say to the Believers: "Wait for us! Let us borrow (a Light) from your Light!" It will be said: "Turn ye back to your rear! then seek a Light (where ye can)!" So a wall will be put up betwixt them, with a gate therein. Within it will be Mercy throughout, and without it, all alongside, will be (Wrath and) Punishment!		 (আল হাদীদ:
আয়াতঃ ১৩)
33 তারা মুখের ফুঁৎকারে আল্লাহর আলো নিভিয়ে দিতে চায়। আল্লাহ তাঁর আলোকে পূর্ণরূপে বিকশিত করবেন যদিও কাফেররা তা অপছন্দ করে।
Their intention is to extinguish Allah's Light (by blowing) with their mouths: But Allah will complete (the revelation of) His Light, even though the Unbelievers may detest (it).		 (আছ-ছফ:
আয়াতঃ ৮)
34 একজন রসূল, যিনি তোমাদের কাছে আল্লাহর সুস্পষ্ট আয়াতসমূহ পাঠ করেন, যাতে বিশ্বাসী ও সৎকর্মপরায়ণদের অন্ধকার থেকে আলোতে আনয়ন করেন। যে আল্লাহর প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে ও সৎকর্ম সম্পাদন করে, তিনি তাকে দাখিল করবেন জান্নাতে, যার তলদেশে নদী প্রবাহিত, তথায় তারা চিরকাল থাকবে। আল্লাহ তাকে উত্তম রিযিক দেবেন।
An Messenger, who rehearses to you the Signs of Allah containing clear explanations, that he may lead forth those who believe and do righteous deeds from the depths of Darkness into Light. And those who believe in Allah and work righteousness, He will admit to Gardens beneath which Rivers flow, to dwell therein for ever: Allah has indeed granted for them a most excellent Provision.		 (আত্ব-ত্বালাক্ব:
আয়াতঃ ১১)
35 এবং সেখানে চন্দ্রকে রেখেছেন আলোরূপে এবং সূর্যকে রেখেছেন প্রদীপরূপে।
"'And made the moon a light in their midst, and made the sun as a (Glorious) Lamp?		 (নূহ:
আয়াতঃ ১৬)
36 শপথ প্রভাতকালের যখন তা আলোকোদ্ভাসিত হয়,
And by the Dawn as it shineth forth,-		 (আল মুদ্দাসসির:
আয়াতঃ ৩৪)
37 যখন সূর্য আলোহীন হয়ে যাবে,
When the sun (with its spacious light) is folded up;		 (আত-তাকভীর:
আয়াতঃ ১)
38 শপথ দিনের, যখন সে আলোকিত হয়
By the Day as it appears in glory;		 (আল লায়ল:
আয়াতঃ ২)
39 আমি আপনার আলোচনাকে সমুচ্চ করেছি।
