5	আলিফ, লা-ম, রা; এটি এমন এক কিতাব, যার আয়াত সমূহ সুপ্রতিষ্ঠিত অতঃপর সবিস্তারে বর্ণিত এক মহাজ্ঞানী, সর্বজ্ঞ সত্তার পক্ষ হতে। A. L. R. 6	আলিফ-লা-ম-রা; এগুলো সুস্পষ্ট গ্রন্থের আয়াত। A. L. R. These are the symbols (or Verses) of the perspicuous Book.	(ইউসূফ: আয়াতঃ ১)
7	আলিফ-লাম-মীম-রা; এগুলো কিতাবের আয়াত। যা কিছু আপনার পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে অবতীর্ণ হয়েছে, তা সত্য। কিন্তু অধিকাংশ মানুষ এতে বিশ্বাস করে না। A. L. M. R. These are the signs (or verses) of the Book: that which hath been revealed unto thee from thy Lord is the Truth; but most men believe not.	(রা'দ: আয়াতঃ ১)
8	আলিফ-লাম-রা; এটি একটি গ্রন্থ, যা আমি আপনার প্রতি নাযিল করেছি-যাতে আপনি মানুষকে অন্ধকার থেকে আলোর দিকে বের করে আনেন-পরাক্রান্ত, প্রশংসার যোগ্য পালনকর্তার নির্দেশে তাঁরই পথের দিকে। A. L. R. A Book which We have revealed unto thee, in order that thou mightest lead mankind out of the depths of darkness into light - by the leave of their Lord - to the Way of (Him) the Exalted in power, worthy of all praise!-	(ইব্রাহীম: আয়াতঃ ১)
