| 1 | আল্লাহ তা’আলা জীবনোপকরণে তোমাদের একজনকে অন্যজনের চাইতে শ্রেষ্টত্ব দিয়েছেন। অতএব যাদেরকে শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব দেয়া হয়েছে, তারা তাদের অধীনস্থ দাস-দাসীদেরকে স্বীয় জীবিকা থেকে এমন কিছু দেয় না, যাতে তারা এ বিষয়ে তাদের সমান হয়ে যাবে। তবে কি তারা আল্লাহর নেয়ামত অস্বীকার করে। Allah has bestowed His gifts of sustenance more freely on some of you than on others: those more favoured are not going to throw back their gifts to those whom their right hands possess, so as to be equal in that respect. Will they then deny the favours of Allah? |

| 2 | আল্লাহ কোন সন্তান গ্রহণ করেননি এবং তাঁর সাথে কোন মাবুদ নেই। থাকলে প্রত্যেক মাবুদ নিজ নিজ সৃষ্টি নিয়ে চলে যেত এবং একজন অন্যজনের উপর প্রবল হয়ে যেত। তারা যা বলে, তা থেকে আল্লাহ পবিত্র। No son did Allah beget, nor is there any god along with Him: (if there were many gods), behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have lorded it over others! Glory to Allah! (He is free) from the (sort of) things they attribute to Him! |
