| 1 | যারা মিথ্যা অপবাদ রটনা করেছে, তারা তোমাদেরই একটি দল। তোমরা একে নিজেদের জন্যে খারাপ মনে করো না; বরং এটা তোমাদের জন্যে মঙ্গলজনক। তাদের প্রত্যেকের জন্যে ততটুকু আছে যতটুকু সে গোনাহ করেছে এবং তাদের মধ্যে যে এ ব্যাপারে অগ্রণী ভূমিকা নিয়েছে, তার জন্যে রয়েছে বিরাট শাস্তি। Those who brought forward the lie are a body among yourselves: think it not to be an evil to you; On the contrary it is good for you: to every man among them (will come the punishment) of the sin that he earned, and to him who took on himself the lead among them, will be a penalty grievous. |

| 2 | আমরা আশা করি, আমাদের পালনকর্তা আমাদের ক্রটি-বিচ্যুতি মার্জনা করবেন। কারণ, আমরা বিশ্বাস স্থাপনকারীদের মধ্যে অগ্রণী। "Only, our desire is that our Lord will forgive us our faults, that we may become foremost among the believers!" |

| 3 | মুমিনগণ! তোমরা আল্লাহ ও রসূলের সামনে অগ্রণী হয়ো না এবং আল্লাহকে ভয় কর। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সবকিছু শুনেন ও জানেন। O Ye who believe! Put not yourselves forward before Allah and His Messenger; but fear Allah: for Allah is He Who hears and knows all things. |
